Learning an Instrument at Warington School

Learning a musical instrument is one of the most wonderful experiences that a child can have, and at Katherine Warington School, we believe that every child should have the opportunity to experience learning an instrument during their time at school.

We are able to offer a wide range of instrumental and performing arts lessons in a variety of disciplines. Each lesson is 30 minutes individually with a specialist and includes a musical ensemble for 30 minutes led by each specialist tutor.

Instrumental Tuition

We currently offer Piano, Drums, Guitar, Violin, Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone, Trumpet, French Horn, Woodwind and Brass Lessons

Vocal Tuition

Students can study Musical Theatre or Classical Voice

LAMDA Tuition

Designed for each student, we offer Public Speaking, Acting, Verse and Prose.

Dance Tuition

We currently offer Ballet and Contemporary Dance.

Musical Ensemble

Our ensembles include Orchestra, Choir, Chamber Group, Percussion, Rock Group and Music Theory.

Pricing 2024-2025

The amount is payable in advance via an invoice that is sent out before the start of each term at a charge of £248 for 10 lessons of 30 minute per term.

We are also able to offer the ability to pay your invoice via a monthly subscription for lessons at £65 per month, which can be set up to automatically pay the same time each month so no additional invoices or prepayment is necessary. *This is our preferred choice of billing.

Support for lesson costs is available to those students eligible for pupil premium funding and for those resident in the Harpenden & Wheathampstead area. We also work closely with the James Marshall Foundation.

Please note that when signing up for lessons, you must give a FULL TERM notice to stop or cease your lessons.
